Im very confident.Jordan was first suspended July 3 after testing positive for a prohibited stimulant. As the Dolphins were notified Sept. 19 that his suspension was lifted, they were advised of a second suspension, and Jordan underwent treatment.I feel much better, he said regarding his hiatus. It was unfortunate I had to take the time, but it was the most time Ive had to myself in a really long time. I used it wisely as far as making sure I bettered myself and making sure I came back with a clear mind.Coach Joe Philbin said he has had numerous conversations in recent months with Jordan.Weve been really focused on the future, Philbin said. Philbin said Jordan looked good in practice, and a decision regarding whether to activate him this week will depend on how quickly he shows hes up to speed physically and with the defensive scheme. The third overall pick in last years draft, Jordan had a disappointing rookie season. A right shoulder injury hampered his development, although he played in all 16 games.Despite speculation Jordan would be better suited to play linebacker, hes expected to back up Cameron Wake and Olivier Vernon at end.My abilities havent changed, Jordan said. Im going to help these guys and make it a lot easier so that Cam and O.V. dont have to take as many reps as theyve been taking in the last few weeks.Jordan provides additional depth on a defence that is allowing only 4.7 yards per play, best in the NFL. He might also contribute on special teams, as he did last year. Its great to have him back, Wake said. Hes a very dynamic player, and he does a lot of things for the team. Having him back in the lineup is going to be great.Wake said Jordans missteps didnt shake his teammates trust in him.Id like to think if you make a mistake, whether its dropping a football or fumbling or missing a tackle or sack, you learn from those mistakes, Wake said. Felton was in court as the Manhattan district attorneys office outlined the agreement, which would resolve a gun case that arose amid the breakup of his marriage. Hes expected to admit June 30 to at least one charge, attempted criminal possession of a weapon -- he wont have to come to court to do so -- and get a $5,000 fine and 500 hours of community service. "I want to thank the DA for being fair to me in this whole situation," Felton said outside court, also thanking his family, friends and fans "for supporting me and understanding who, the person, I am." His lawyer, Jim Walden, said the plea would allow Felton to "continue his career without interruption." The DAs office had no immediate comment on the agreement. Felton was arrested in February, turning himself in shortly after a Dallas Mavericks-Knicks game at Madison Square Garden. Authorities said his estranged wifes lawyer had brought a loaded semi-automatic handgun to a police precinct, saying it was Feltons and she wanted it out of their house. His wife, law student Ariane Raymondo-Felton, had filed for divorce the week before. Her lawyer didnt immediately respond to an inquiry about Feltons planned plea. Felton was charged with offences including a weapon-possession offence that carries the potential for up to seven years in prison; it outlaws large-capacity ammunition magazines, under some circumstances. The gun in Feltons case had a magazine that could hold about 20 rounds, prosecutors said. Alonzo Mourning Jersey. His lawyer said Felton never used the gun to threaten anyone. After five seasons with the Charlotte Bobcats, he had stints with the Knicks, Denver Nuggets and Portland Trail Blazers before returning to the Knicks for the 2012-13 season. Felton averaged a career-low 9.7 points last season as the Knicks went 37-45 and missed the playoffs. The point guard missed 17 games while battling injuries, and team president Phil Jackson recently denied a report that he had told Felton he planned to try to trade him this summer. Felton is set to earn $3.8 million next season and has a player option that would pay him $4 million in 2015-16. Felton is among a few pro athletes who have gotten into trouble with New Yorks strict gun laws.
